Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to accept the transfer application made by the petitioner dated 04.06.2018 and permit the petitioner to participate in the transfer counseling to be held on 16.06.2018 by relaxing the condition that the teacher might have joined prior to 01.06.2017 in the present working school.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, submit that the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous, since the petitioner has already participated in the counseling, pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court.
