ORDER

The petitioner has submitted an application dated 03.04.2023 to the respondents requesting them to survey his land in Survey No. 147/8A situated at Pudhuvadi Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy Trichy. Since the same has not been considered, he filed another application dated 10.07.2023 to the respondents seeking to survey his land. Despite the same, the respondents have not taken any steps to survey his land. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that based on the petitioner's application dated 03.04.2023, an attempt was made by the Survey Officer to survey his land on 30.05.2023, at that time, an adjacent land owner has raised certain objection and therefore, survey could not be completed. 2/4

In view of the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's application within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there is any objection from adjacent land owners, the second respondent shall issue a notice under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act to the objectors and thereafter, take a decision in accordance with law.
