ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420,406,467,468 and 506(ii) of IPC., in Crime No.'Not known' of 2016, seek anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent states that no FIR is registered against the petitioners and the petition enquiry alone is pending before the respondent police.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ petitioners states that the respondent police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

4. Considering the above facts, the respondent is directed either to register the FIR or to close the enquiry, as expeditiously as possible and further, the respondent should not harass the petitioners during enquiry. The petitioners are also directed to co-operate with the enquiry.

5. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.

6. In view of the above order passed in Crl.OP(MD)No.16821 of 2017, the petition filed by the intervener is CRL MP(MD)No.9776 of 2017 stands closed.
