ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. The petitioner had approached the fourth respondent for issuance of the Legal Heir Certificate. However, the same was rejected, as there was a dispute regarding the marital status of the petitioner's deceased son, who died on mysterious circumstances in the year 2024. Aggrieved by the aforesaid order of the fourth respondent, dated 16.07.2024, the petitioner has filed an appeal before 2/5

the third respondent on 02.07.2025. Now, the petitioner seeks for a direction to the third respondent to dispose of the aforesaid appeal as expeditiously as possible.

3. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the appeal will be disposed of on merits within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Recording this same, this Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate for the respondents that the appeal, dated 02.07.2025 of the petitioner, will be disposed of within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
