: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying to direct the respondents to secure the accused persons in connection with Crime No.431 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to secure the accused persons in connection with a case registered in Crime No.431 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the third accused in this crime is absconding and warrant is also pending against him, but, so far, the second respondent police is not executing the warrant. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking for the aforesaid relief.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the third accused in this crime is working in Indian Army and now, the respondents are taking steps to execute the warrant.

4. Considering the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents and also considering the fact that warrant is pending from the year 2016, a direction is issued to the second respondent to execute the warrant as expeditiously as possible.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
