ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders to direct the respondents to 1/4
conclude the enquiry based on the complaint, dated 24.05.2023 given to the respondents within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's father Samiayya Nadar had died at the age of 100 years due to natural cause; that since there existed property dispute between the petitioner and his sister, the present came to be lodged and that enquiry was conducted in current paper and the same was ordered to be closed. He would further submit that since there existed civil dispute between teh parties, the petitioner has given a compliant in exoragated manner and after enquiry, the same was ordered to be closed. He has also produced the report of the Inspector of Police, Masarpatti Police Station, dated 01.08.2024.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings, if so advised. No costs. 09.09.2024 2/4
