O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.167 of 2016 on the file of the learned Additional Mahila Court, Madurai, pending against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 498(A), 406, 448, 506(i) of IPC and r/w 4 of TNPWH Act.

2.It appears that the matter was referred to the legal aid and parties have arrived at settlement and to that effect, a joint compromise memo was filed by the parties on 29.07.2021. In the said compromise memo, the defacto complainant has expressed his willingness to withdraw his complaint.

3.In the light of the compromise memo, this quash petition is dismissed. Regarding the memo, the parties shall report before the trial Court for arriving compromise and give quietus to the criminal prosecution in accordance with law. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
