Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, i)directing the respondents to settle retirement benefits of the petitioner including Gratuity amount, refund of his contribution towards Institute of Road Transport, Medical, Engineering and Polytechnic college contribution, Post Retirement Welfare Scheme Pension and all other attendant benefits etc., with interest at the rate of 10% per annum within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ii)directing the respondents to pay interest to the petitioner for the belated payment of leave salary, for the period from 1.7.2011 to 22.08.2012.

iii)directing the respondents to pay interest to the petitioner at the rate of 10% per annum for the belated payment of commuted value of pension for the period from 1.7.2011 to 12.9.2012.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to settle the retirement benefits of the writ petitioner. 2.Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation made a submission that all the benefits due to the writ petitioner had already been settled except the benefit of leave salary interest. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to settled the leave salary interest and any other benefits which all are due to be paid to the writ petitioner within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In this regard, the Writ Petitioner is also at liberty to submit his representations to the respondents.
