PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide the adequate police protection to the petitioner for demolishing the unauthorised construction in respect of the building at Ward No.2, New Ward No.5, Door No.2/3 Natham Survey No.91/3 - 90/1A1, Palavoor Village Part II, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District and pass such other and further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

This petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide the adequate police protection to the petitioner for demolishing the unauthorised construction in respect of the building at Ward No.2, New Ward No.5, Door No.2/3 Natham Survey No.91/3 - 90/1A1, Palavoor Village Part II, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

W.P.(MD).No.15642 of 2015 2.The petitioner sought police protection to him for demolishing the unauthorised construction in respect of the building at Ward No.2, New Ward No.5, Door No.2/3 Natham Survey No.91/3 - 90/1A1, Palavoor Village Part II, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. Now, almost 5 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.

3.In view of the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint, on fresh cause of action, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
