ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to register the decree made in O.S.Nos.309 of 2003 and 38 of 2010, dated 15.03.2010 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Dindigul.

2. According to the petitioner, a decree has been passed in his favour in O.S.Nos.309 of 2003 and 38 of 2010 on 15.03.2010 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Dindigul. When he approached the first respondent herein for registration of the said decree, there was no response and the first respondent has not registered the said decree. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. In view of the settled position of law that there is no limitation for registering a decree passed by the Civil Court. The first respondent is directed to entertain both the decrees of the Civil Court and register the same on payment of necessary charges.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
