Common Prayer: Petitions are filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.94 of 2014, dated 26.03.2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Navalpattu Police Station, Trichy District and quash the same as against the petitioners herein. For Petitioner : Mr.D.Rameshkumar in both cases For Respondent No.1: Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, in both cases Government Advocate (Crl.side) For Respondent No.2 : Mr.R.Sundar Srinivasan in both cases.
COMMON ORDER The present petitions have been filed to quash the First Information Report registered in Crime No.94 of 2014, dated 26.03.2014, on the file of the first respondent.
2. Today, when the petitions were taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent as well as the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent in both the petitions submitted that now, the investigation in Crime No.94 of 2014 has been completed and final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)Nos.18028 and 18234 of 2016 report has also been laid by the first respondent and the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate is yet to take cognizance of the offence.
3. Considering the fact that the investigation in Crime No.94 of 2014 has been completed and final report has also been filed, I find no reason to quash the First Information Report at this stage and hence, the Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed. However, after taking cognizance of the offence, if the petitioners have any grievance, it is always open to them to challenge the same in the manner known to law. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
