PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to complete the proceedings initiated by him in Na.Ka.B4-1239-2022 with regard to rectify the mistakes in UDR Survey within the time frame as stipulated by this Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to complete the proceedings initiated by him in Na.Ka.B4-1239-2022 with regard to rectify the mistakes in UDR Survey.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has filed an appeal before the first respondent in the month of June 2022, in order to rectify the mistakes in UDR Survey. Based on the appeal, the first respondent has initiated proceedings in Na.Ka.B4-1239-2022 and issued summons to 2/5
the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 11 on 21.07.2022, to appear before him for enquiry on 05.09.2022, along with necessary documents to substantiate their claims. Now, the proceeding is pending before the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking direction to the first respondent to complete the proceedings in Na.Ka.B4-1239-2022
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that already an enquiry is pending before the District Revenue Officer and after enquiry, appropriate orders will be passed.

In view of the above, this Court directs the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai District, Sivagangai, the first respondent herein to complete the enquiry in Na.Ka.B4-1239-2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
