3.K.Rajamani [R-3 impleaded as per the order of this Court dated 06.10.2016, in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.9671 of 2016] : Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner to raise stone pillars and fence the same in his property in Survey Nos.50/2B1B, 50/2B2B, 50/2C2, 50/3A2B1, 50/3A3A, 50/4, 50/1A1B, 50/1A2B, 50/2B2A, 50/2C1 at Arasakulam Village, Kariappatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District, on the basis of his complaint dated 12.09.2016.

ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking police protection.
2. Mr.C.Godwin, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent would submit that the dispute between the parties is civil in nature and now the matter is pending before the District Collector, Virudhunagar District, for measuring the property as well as rectification of patta.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the first and second respondents also.
4. In this case, the complaint has been given on 12.09.2016 and the matter is pending for nearly four years. Now, due to efflux of time, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18182 of 2016 and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, if at all any disturbance in future, it is always open to the petitioner to file a fresh complaint to the second respondent police.
