in the year 2010. The defacto complainant has approached this Court by way of this petition for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aundipatti, Theni District, for disposal of the case in a specific time being fixed by this Court.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, in the year 2010, the petitioner has filed a complaint and after completion of the investigation, the Police have filed a charge sheet in the year 2012 and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.194 of 2012 for the offence punishable under Sections 468, 471 and 420 IPC @ Sections 419, 420, 468, 471 and 120 (b) IPC. It is submitted that on account of noncooperation of the accused for the trial and also on account of COVID, the said C.C.No.194 of 2012 could not be disposed of. Therefore, he sought for suitable directions.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the official respondent submits that the prosecution has produced all the witnesses and that the trial is completed so far as the prosecution witnesses are concerned and that the matter is posted to 10.08.2023 for the witnesses of the accused.

In view of the submissions made by both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the official respondent and keeping in view the fact that the offence is of the year 2010, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aundipatti, Theni District, is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.194 of 2012 as quickly as possible not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
