ORDER

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents made a submission that based on the claim of the writ petitioner, the second respondent/Block Development Officer, Aranthangi, submitted a proposal to the District Collector at Pudukkottai, for passing necessary orders for settlement of terminal benefits due to the writ petitioner.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that no disciplinary proceedings are continued and the petitioner was relieved from service and therefore, the petitioner is to be entitled for terminal and pensionary benefits. However, the fact remains that the second respondent sent the proposal to the District Collector for settlement of terminal and pensionary benefits. This apart, certain audit objection was also raised. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent/District Collector, Pudukkottai, is looked into the proposal submitted by the second respondent/Block Development Officer, Aranthangi, and take a appropriate decision and pass suitable orders regarding the submission of the terminal and pensionary benefits to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
