Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order of dismissal passed by the 4th respondent in his proceedings C.No.E1/P.R.35/94 D.O.No.647/95 dated 24.06.1995, the consequential appeal order passed by the 3rd respondent by his proceedings A4/AP.26/95 dated 20.10.1995, the order passed by the 2nd respondent by his proceedings R.C.No.123987/AP-II(3)/2003 dated 30.06.2003 in the mercy petition and the present impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in G.O. (2D) No.795 Home (Police VI) Department, dated 24.12.2013, quash all the same and consequently, directing the respondents to give all attendant benefits to the petitioner.

ORDER

This Court is able to see that the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner was not present on several occasions, despite enough indulgence was shown to the counsel for the petitioner. When the mater was listed on 01.09.2021, there was no representation for the petitioner. Thereafter, the matter was posted on 02.09.2021 and at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the case was adjourned by a week.

2.On 22.09.2021, the writ petition was listed and there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Court directed the matter to be listed on 23.09.2021 under the caption "for dismissal". There was no representation on 23.09.2021. Again, this Court directed the Registry to list the matter on 24.09.2021 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner did not appear. Hence, this Court has no other option, but to dismiss the writ petition for non prosecution. Accordingly, this Writ petition stands dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
