PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the Respondents 1 to 4 from permitting the respondent No.5 from holding the public prayers at 106/F/4, Palai West Road, Tuticorin District, within the time frame stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The writ petition is seeking for a Mandamus to forbear the respondents 1 to 4 from permitting the fifth respondent from holding the public prayers at 106/F/4, Palai West Road, Tuticorin District.

2.Pursuant to the order dated 13.02.2023, the second respondent had filed a status report indicating that the fifth respondent had vacated the land and that there was no prayer meeting conducted.

3.In view of the said status report filed by the second respondent, no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition and the writ petition is accordingly closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority, in future if any violation is noticed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
