ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent 1/3

police for the offences punishable under Sections 342, 377 and 506(i) IPC and Section 54 of Prisons Act, 1894 and Section 18(b) of Transgender Prison Protection of Rights, 2019 in Cr.No.283 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

3. Considering the nature of allegations against this petitioner that the petitioner being a Jail Warden in Central Prison, Trichy, misbehaved with and sexually abused the Transgender person and considering the statement given by the said Transgender person, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
