ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation, dated 02.07.2019, seeking upward revision of pay scale entitled for Technical Assistant. 2.Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.According to the petitioner, his name was recommended by the District Employment Officer, Theni for the selection for the post of Technical Assistant in Central Sterilization Service Department of Government Theni Medical College Hospital, Theni. After due process of selection, the petitioner was selected and he is working from December, 2007 and the pay scale allowed at the time of appointment was Rs.4300-1009-6000. As per G.O.Ms.No.72, Health and Family Welfare Department, dated 03.05.2010, the scale of pay prescribed for the post of Technical Assistant was Rs.9,300+4200 [G.P.]. Therefore, the petitioner has sent various representations to the first respondent through the second respondent. W.P.(MD) No.21149 of 2019 through the second respondent. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.
4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
5.Considering the nature of relief sought for in the Writ Petition, without deciding the issues on merits, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.07.2019, on merits and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
