ORDER

The petitioner challenging the notice issued by the respondents for auctioning the petitioner's property has filed this writ petition.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner requested four months time to settle the dues. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the petitioner is liable to pay a sum of Rs.8,67,875/-. The government vide GO.Ms.No.164, Co-Operation, Food and Consumer Protection Department dated 13.03.2024, granted three months time to settle amount and as such the very scheme itself is available only upto 13.03.2024. If the petitioner makes the payment on before 13.03.2024, then the amount would be settled as Rs.5,54,458/-. So far the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.2,00,000/-. The petitioner cannot avail the benefit beyond the period. Therefore, the petitioner's request for time cannot be considered.

4.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents and avail the benefit before 13.03.2024. If the petitioner does not avail the benefit within the time, the respondents shall raise the demand and proceed further. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
