Heard Mrs.A.Thamilarasi, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to issue patta based on the petitioner's representations, dated 08.07.2023 and 01.09.2003. The petitioner, based on the continuous long possession of the subject property, has sought for issuance of free house site patta.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the subjects lands were already handed over to the Backward Class Department and therefore, all these factors would have to be taken into account before any further orders are passed. 4.Since the petitioner only seeks for disposal of his 2/4

representations, without going into the merits or entitlement of the petitioner, it would suffice to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 08.07.2023 and 01.09.2003 and after hearing the petitioner and other interest parties and after considering al relevant factors, shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
