ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the official respondents to conclude the proceedings initiated by them in O.Mu.16/2025/A6, dated 25.01.2025.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.J.Vishnu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is passed against the third respondent, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.
3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.According to the petitioner, she submitted an application before the respondents on 02.12.2022, seeking issuance of patta based on her possession in respect of the property situated in Survey No.474, Ennai Village, Iluppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District. Based on the said application, the second respondent initiated the proceedings and directed
the jurisdictional Revenue Inspector to submit a report. However, there is no progress thereafter. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit the application of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the limited prayer made in this writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to conclude the proceedings initiated by him dated 25.01.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, third respondent and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
