ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to direct the first respondent to take up the second appeal dated 29.06.2024 on file and to dispose of the same within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the first respondent and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second third respondents. 3.When the mater is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second and third

respondents had produced a copy of the letter, dated 03.05.2024 in Na.Ka.A1/456/2024, which has been addressed by the Tahsildar, Alangudi, to the Block Development Officer, Tiruvarankulam and the Assistant Engineer, National Highways, Pudukkottai, wherein it has been stated that the lands that proposed to be acquired for widening of road are only the S.Nos.121, 122, 29/1 and 154/5 and the petitioner's lands which are comprised in S.Nos.120/5A, 15B, is not being acquired. Therefore, there is no necessity to direct the first respondent to dispose of the second appeal. 4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
