ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to take action against the respondents 4 and 11 for having involved in Kattapanchayat and Ex-communicating the petitioner and his family members from the village and prohibiting from entering the public temple, namely, "Mariamman Kovil", based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2019. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner and his family members were excommunicated by the village panchayatars/respondents 4 to 11. By virtue of that the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.21021 of 2019 4 to 11 are pressurizing the petitioner to pay a extraordinary sum for suspending excommunication. It is alleged that at the instance of the respondents 4 and 5, the petitioner and his family members were not only excommunicated, but also the people in the village were directed not to have any contact with the petitioner and his family members.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going to the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.08.2019, after conducting due enquiry with respondents 4 to 11 and also after giving opportunity of hearing and to pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
