This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.164 of 2016 on the file of the respondent Pavoorchatiram Police Station, Pavoorchatiram, Tenkasi Taluk, Tirunelveli District.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that on the complaint lodged by the second respondent, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.164 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 420, 294 (b) and 506 (ii) of IPC. After completion of investigation, they filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi and the same is taken for cognizance in C.C.No.38 of 2020.
