Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.166 of 2017 registered on the file of Bazaar police station.

3. The defacto complainant Lakshmanan is present in person before this Court. He has been duly identified by Ms.Vasuki, Head Constable, attached to Bazaar police station. The parties have filed a memo of compromise. The defacto complainant does not have any objection to quash the impugned First Information Report.

4. Since the defacto complainant himself does not want to pursue the matter, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned First Information Report alive. Therefore, the impugned First https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL.O.P.(MD)NO.17976 OF 2021 Information Report is quashed. This criminal original petition is allowed. The joint compromise memo dated 22.11.2021 shall form part of the order.
