This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection for conducting Aadi festival scheduled to be held on 13.08.2023 in Kamatchi Amman Kathan Sami Periyakaandi Amman Veeramalai Swami Temple situated at Panaiyapuram Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2023.

2. Since the date on which the petitioner's sought to conduct the festival has already been expired, this Writ Petition becomes infructuous.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
