Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the certificate of registration issued by the Costal Aquaculture Authority the 1st respondent herein in Registration No.TN/II/2015 (1709) dated 18.12.2015 and quash the same as illegal as per rule 5 (xv) of the Costal Regulation Rules 2005 and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 5 to prevent the respondent 6 and 7 from running the Prawn farm at survey Nos.257 and 258, Mookaiyur Revenue Village, Sayalkudi post, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram.

2. The learned Government Pleader submits that now the Prawn Culture Farm is not functioning and therefore, the prayer in the Writ Petition as such would not survive.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner accepts the same.
