ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2014 and to take necessary action against the persons, who have illegally demolished her house.

2. This writ petition was originally filed as against the Chief Secretary, Secretariat, Fort St. George, Chennai and the Director General of Police, Tamilnadu Police, Kamarajar Salai, Chennai. On the direction of this Court, the petitioner has also filed an impleading petition in M.P. (MD)No.1 of 2015 to implead the revenue officials and panchayat officials, which is yet to be ordered.

3. When the writ petition was taken for hearing on 15.02.2023, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no 2/4

instruction from the petitioner. Therefore, this Court, by order dated 15.02.2023, directed the Registry to serve notice to the petitioner intimating the date of hearing of the writ petition on 08.03.2023. Pursuant to the same, the Registry of this Court sent a notice to the petitioner. However, she has refused to receive the said notice.

5. Today, the learned appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Since she lost her husband and also lost the case in the Civil Court, she refused to receive the notice.

6. In view of the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 08.03.2023 ogy NCC : Yes / No.
