ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant permission to conduct the temple festival scheduled to be held on 05.09.2024 and 06.09.2024 at Puliyankattu Sudalaimadaswamy Temple, Urumankulam Village, Thisaiyanvizhai Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering the writ petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2024.
2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that "Temple Festival" of Puliyankattu Sudalaimadaswamy Temple, Urumankulam Village, Thisaiyanvizhai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, is going to be held on 05.09.2024 and 06.09.2024, that the writ petitioner has sent a representation dated 22.08.2024 to the respondents 1 2/4
to 3 seeking permission and that since no order has been passed till now, the writ petitioner was constrained to approach this Court.
4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that since the fourth respondent has raised objections, the representation given by the writ petitioner is pending before the third respondent.
5. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to issue notice to the writ petitioner as well as to the fourth respondent and consider the writ petitioner's representation and then pass orders within a period of three (3) days from today (30.08.2024).
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
