The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to direct the 4th Respondent to consider his representation dated 12.09.2022, to disallow the First Honour to any private individuals during the Car Festival of Arulmigu Udayaparasakthi Amman Temple's Tuesday Festival of Kulamangalam Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, scheduled on 21.09.2022. 2/4

Heard Mr.NA.Palaniyandi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the 4th respondent and Mr.K.Prabhakar, learned counsel for the respondents 5 and 6. 3.

Since the current year festival is over, the prayer of the petitioner has become infructuous. In view of the above, leaving it open to the petitioner and respondents 5 and 6 to approach the concerned authorities for any other relief, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
