The present petition has been filed to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.224 of 2012 pending on the file of the learned District Munsif - cum- Judicial Magistrate, Orathanadu, insofar as the petitioner herein is concerned.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the above said criminal case ended in acquittal on 12.09.2017 by the learned District Munsif - cum- Judicial Magistrate, Orathanadu. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. In view of the submission so made, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
