O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for a issuing a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta to the petitioners for the Government Natham Land bearing S.No.70 situated at Thattanur Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District. 2.Though the Writ Petition is filed for issuing a positive direction, the learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation within the time stipulated by this Court.

3.Having regard to the limited scope of prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- "The first respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' representation dated 04.08.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after holding enquiry and spot inspection within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
