ORDER

The present petition has been filed to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.183 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. However, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that pending quash petition, trial in C.C.No.183 of 2016 was over and the said criminal case ended in acquittal on 14.03.2018 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel.

3. In view of the submission so made, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
