The petitioner's father was found dead under mysterious circumstances on 24.09.2021. It appears to be a case of accident. However, the persons who caused the accident have not been brought to book till date. Hence, the petitioner seeks transfer of investigation in Crime No.424 of 2021 registered on the file of the second respondent police station.

2.The FIR was registered as early as on 24.09.2021. Two months have elapsed. Therefore, the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to monitor the investigation. In any event, the final report shall be filed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
