O R D E R

This criminal original petition is filed for directing the respondent police to give protection to the petitioner herein. 2.A reading of the materials enclosed in the typed set of papers indicate that the third respondent is the wife of the petitioner and that according to the petitioner, she is living with the fourth respondent. The fact remains that the third respondent has lodged a complaint against the petitioner in Crime No.22 of 2021 on the file of All Women Police Station, Sivagangai, for the offences under Sections 498(A), 323 and 294(b) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. Crl.O.P(MD)No.17928 of 2021 registration of the aforesaid case. I am not satisfied that there is any credible material to show that there is a real threat to the petitioner's life and limb. No case has been made out for granting relief. The criminal original petition stands dismissed.
