2. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent states that the petitioner is no more. What is under challenge is a mere notice issued under Section 83 of the Registration Act. It does not by itself affect the rights of any of the parties. It is open to the first respondent to issue fresh notice to the concerned parties if law permits.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
