Common Prayer: Criminal Original petitions filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the complaint in S.T.C.Nos.477 and 478 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai and to quash the same as illegal. In Both Petitions:

For Petitioner : Mr.K.R.Laxman For Respondent : Mr.K.Muthumalai COMMON ORDER These petitions are filed to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.Nos.477 and 478 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, as against the petitioner. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seek permission of this Court to withdraw these petitions. 3.In view of the same, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in both the cases the petitioner settled the substantial amount to the respondents. The petitioner is ready and willing to settle the remaining amount and he sought for further period to settle the amount.

4.Considering the above submission, the trial Court is directed to refer the matter before the Lok Adalat and direct the parties to appear before the Lok Adalat. It is also made clear that if the petitioner does not settle the amount to the respondent herein as agreed by him, within a period of six months from the date on which https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
