ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to transfer the case in Crime No. 57 of 2014 dated 23.01.2014 pending on the file of fifth respondent and entrust the same to the fourth respondent for investigation of the case by a competent officer and file a final report along with eighth respondent's name as accused before the jurisdictional magistrate within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the case in Crime No. 57 of 2014 dated 23.01.2014 had culminated in Spl.S.C.No.48 of 2014 and the trial had already been concluded and an order of acquittal has also been made on 23.11.2017.

3. In view of the aforesaid development, no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 19.01.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Sm 4/6
