ORDER

The petitioner is the son of the defacto complainant. The petitioner's father lodged Crime No.64 of 2011 on the file of the respondent. Cognizance came to be taken only in the year 2017.

2. More than four years have elapsed. The trial is yet to commence. Therefore, the petitioner has moved this Court for expediting the proceedings. No exception can be taken to the petitioner's request.

3. The trial Court is directed to conclude the case in C.C.No.18 of 2017 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.17940 of 2021 order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
