ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 to 6 not to harass the petitioners and their family members.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners borrowed loan from the respondents 7 to 14 to purchase vehicle. Due to financial constraint, they could not pay the monthly instalments. Therefore, the respondents 7 to 14 lodged a complaint before the concerned police officials and threatening the petitioners to settle the amount immediately. He further submitted that he is already willing to settle the amount to the respondents 7 to 14 one by one in due course.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 would submit that till today, the respondents 1 to 6 have not received any complaints from the respondents 7 to 14 and no enquiry is pending as against the petitioners.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court directs the respondents 1 to 6, not to harass the petitioners, unless and otherwise there is a complaint, they conduct enquiry and if there is any cognizable offence is made out, they can proceed as against the petitioners in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
