By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.Heard, Mr.P.Venkatasubramanian, learned counsel for the petitioner and also Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.An appeal had been preferred before the first respondent / District Collector, Sivagangai District, by the petitioner herein, aggrieved by the compensation amount granted and seeking enhancement of compensation owing to acquisition of lands. 4.A direction is given to the first respondent to consider the appeal petition, follow the procedure as envisaged under the law https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.20591 of 2021 and dispose the same on or before 31.01.2022. If required a personal hearing may also be given to the petitioner herein. 5.With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
