3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side), the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Dindigul is directed to take cognizance on the final report filed by the respondent police in Crime No.27 of 2016, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order, if not already taken. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
