This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, his wife and watchman Krishnasamy on the basis of his representation, dated 27.09.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

3. The petitioner gave a representation to the respondents on 27.09.2016. Due to lapse of four years the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered now.
