O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] Heard Mr.G.Vishnuram, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
2. The matter is placed today "for reporting compliance".
3. On 11.08.2023, this Court observed that the petitioner has undertaken to deposit Rs.13,00,000/- (Rupees Thirteen lakhs only) on or before 25.08.2023. The Court, in view of the said undertaking, directed that status quo shall be maintained till 25.08.2023. The Court further observed that if the petitioner did not show his bonafides, as undertaken before this Court, it is open to the respondent/Bank to proceed with the matter in accordance with law and the petitioner shall pursue his remedy before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Madurai.
4. As the petitioner has not complied with the undertaking, the order of this Court stands.
5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of in terms of the order, dated 11.08.2023. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
