RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINNT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extent the time granted to the petitioner for surrender/appear before the Special Court(Mines and Minerals Cases)Madurai District in Crl.OP(MD)No.10794/2021 dated 16/8/2021 on the file of the Hon'ble Court to execute the bail bonds.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.T.PALANISAMY, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to produce sureties. Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation and Government https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.11068 of 2021 Holidays more than 7 days, the petitioner is unable to execute sureties with in the stipulated time as per the order of Crl.O.P(MD) No.10794 of 2021 dated 16.08.2021.

3. In view of the same, time granted by this Court vide order dated 16.08.2021 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.10794 of 2021 is extended further for a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
