This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in E.M.C.No.401 of 2016 on the file of the Executive Magistrate - Cum- Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Tirunelveli City, dated 30.09.2016, on the file of the first respondent, as against the petitioners.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the petitioners are executed a bond before the first respondent. The said notice was issued in the month of September, 2016. The period for the proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. is only for one year. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and nothing survives in this petition.
