ORDER
The order of punishment passed by the first respondent / Commissioner of Police, Madurai City in proceedings, dated 21.04.2014 is under challenge in the present writ petition. 2.Against the said order of punishment, the petitioner preferred a review petition and the writ petitioner filed a writ petition challenging the order of punishment and this Court passed an order directing the authorities to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of twelve(12) weeks. W.P.(MD).No.8252 of 2014 respondent/Commissioner of Police and the earlier punishment is undergone by the writ petitioner and the period also expired. Thus, the Commissioner passed an order withdrawing the black mark imposed for three months on the writ petitioner, in other words the black mark imposed for three months was withdrawn.
3.In view of the fact that, the period of punishment expired and the said black mark was also withdrawn, no further consideration with reference to the grounds raised in the writ petition is required. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
