The writ petition is filed in the year 2015. The writ petition is filed on the basis of the information received under the Right to Information Act, 2005, that unauthorised building is constructed in 17A, Cross Street, Maharaja Nagar, Tirunelveli District.

The learned Advocate for respondent No.2 submits that in case, the said unauthorised structure still stands and no applications are pending in respect of the said building, then action in accordance with law would be undertaken expeditiously against the said unauthorised construction.

In view of the said submission made by the learned Advocate for respondent No.2, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
