ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give appropriate police protection to the life of the petitioner and his family members and for construction work carried on in the petitioner's property.
2. Heard Mr.K.Gokul, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.M.S.Sethuraman, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.R.Manoharan, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.
3. Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and also considering the fact that the writ petition has been filed as well as in the 2/4
year 2014, the writ petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks thereafter.
4. With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
